DMCA Policy for Cheesy Mashed Potatoes

Cheesy Mashed Potatoes respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998, the text of which can be found on the U.S. Copyright Office website, Cheesy Mashed Potatoes will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement committed using the Cheesy Mashed Potatoes website or service if such claims are reported to our Designated Copyright Agent identified below.

Filing a DMCA Notice of Infringement

DMCA Counter-Notification

If you believe that your content that was removed (or to which access was disabled) is not infringing, or that you have the authorization from the copyright owner, the copyright owner's agent, or pursuant to the law, to post and use the material, you may send a counter-notice containing the following information to our Designated Copyright Agent:

  • Identify the specific URLs or other unique identifying information of the material that Cheesy Mashed Potatoes has removed or to which Cheesy Mashed Potatoes has disabled access.
  • Provide your full legal name, mailing address, telephone number, and, if available, email address.
  • Include both of the following statements in the body of the Counter-Notification:
    • "I hereby state under penalty of perjury that I have a good faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled."
    • "I hereby consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside of the United States, for any judicial district in which Cheesy Mashed Potatoes may be found, and I will accept service of process from the person who provided notification of the alleged infringement or an agent of such person."
